5th Photoshoot- National Marine Aquarium

As part of our Earth stories project we were invited to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, to find out a bit more about marine life. We were given a quick tour around to find out some general information about each of the features and then were given the whole afternoon to go and take photographs of anything we liked within the aquarium. Below are the annotated contact sheets from this shoot.

I faced quite a few challenges on this shoot as there was very little light. To help compensate for the low lighting conditions I used a high ISO setting to enable the camera to react faster to light. I also found focusing the camera difficult as I had to photograph through glass or thick Perspex.

Overall I am happy with how this shoot went and i really enjoyed getting to know a bit more about marine life. if i could have done anything differently I would have spent slightly longer on each shot, making sure it was perfectly focused.

You could say, I had a Whale of a time!....
