After finalising my idea and gathering research from various sources I decided I was ready to do my final shoot. I used a combination of two different lenses, the 18-55mm standard Canon kit lens and the 70-300mm telephoto/macro from Tamron. The camera I used was a Canon 1100D.

Over all I am very happy with how this shoot went, I successfully took a large amount of shots with various compositions. I photographed lots of the plant life attached to the theatre close up and also achieved some good images of the new Genesis building.
After discussing my images with several people I have decided that photographing union street as a whole is too big a project for the short amount of time I have. Out of the two buildings I feel my new palace theatre shots are stronger so I have adapted my idea to just showcase the beauty of the theatre on its own.
After reaching this decision and looking back through the images from this shoot I have realised I am missing that one main image that the others would link to. I have decided to reshoot the palace theatre using a wide angle lens (10mm or 20mm) in order to help my capture the theatre in its entirety.
