As you may know if you've read any of my recent blog posts, I have become a bit obsessed with flowers. You know what's even better that flower photography? MACRO flower photography!. To help me improve my skills I decided it was about time to buy my first ever lens! (not counting my standard kit lens of course!).
The lens in question is the Tamron 70-300mm F4-5.6 LD Macro Zoom Lens. Until I received this lens I didn't relise how much of a zoom it actually had. Let me tell you, 70-300mm is a lot of zoom. This lens is dual purpose the 70-300mm zoom makes it a telephoto lens but when it is between 180 and 300mm there is a macro option that allows a wider focal range for close up photography!
As soon as this lens arrived I could not wait to try it out, here are some of my favorite unedited images from my first time using it!
