Here are the contact sheets from my most recent photoshoot. These images are inspired by Cal Gaines experimental work.

For this photoshoot I wanted to experiment more with lighting and movement. To do this I used one light with coloured gels and one light with a reflective umbrella. I tried both red and blue gels but I prefer the blue light as it isn't as harsh as the red and blue is a colour that means sadness, it creates a cold temperature that is associated with sadness and negative emotions. It also links with the phrase "feeling blue" this relates to my concept as anxiety is something that can and does make you feel low and sad. I used a 1 second exposure in order to capture some movement within my images. This gave me time to shake my hair from side to side in order to create the illusion of being wrapped up in hair. I placed the light with the umbrella in front of myself in order to bounce back some light around the upper body and face without lighting it from the front too much.
Here is the lighting diagram I used in this shoot.

I am happy with the style of photographs I have produced and think long exposure and movement is the style I will use in my final imagery. I will be recreating this photoshoot as I want the composition to be more centred and straight. I have also chosen to only use the blue coloured gel and not the red as I think the blue colour portrays my theme better.
