Here are some of my favourite images from the previous shoot.

I love this image because of the way my head is completely wrapped in my moving hair. I like how the front section of my hair has been highlighted by the blue light which I am facing. This adds depth to the image as it does not just consist of one type of light. The pose fits well with my concept because the hair is covering my mouth, this means it is very difficult to talk in general or explain how I am feeling. Often people with anxiety or other mental health illnesses struggle to voice or explain how they are feeling either because they are worried about what others may think or as a result of physical symptoms like a dry throat.

The composition of this image could be better as the end of my elbow is out of shot. However I think the pose of this image is very powerful as it shows anger and pain. As this is a photograph and not a piece of moving image with sound there is no way of telling if this scream is loud and alarming or completely silent. The possibility of a silent screams adds the feeling of being trapped within the imagery, not being able to express emotion as it's just a snapshot in time. With the addition of my hands hold my head I think it shows despair as that is often what people do when they no longer no what to do or say, they just hold their head. It also shows that a person can no longer take what's happening to them, like their head may explode if they don't hold it together.

This image is very similar to the first. However I prefer this one as you can't see any features, it just looks like a head made of hair. I also prefer the composition of this image as it has been cropped slightly tighter in camera so there is less negative space around the model, because of this you can't see so much of the upper body, the main focus becomes the head. The left and right of the image are slightly lighter, almost over exposed. This reminds me of the light leaks you get when using a Lomography camera.

The last image is one that I would call "A beautiful mistake" I have no idea how this was created but I really like it's misty softness. I love the pale blue and green tones in this image. It reminds me of the sea and mermaids. This shows the feeling of drowning in your own thoughts and emotions. I also like how parts of it are difficult to see, this means the viewer has to spend time really looking at the photograph to see what it captures.
