Soil Culture: Dig It- Peninsula Arts Exhibition

I visited an exhibition at Peninsula arts called soil culture: Dig it. This was an interactive exhibition that combined pieces of art with science and research. Below are some images of the exhibition/laboratory.

The exhibition, which they describe as the "bridge between knowledge, understanding and discovery" Helps develop links between soil and how it's used in our everyday lives. Throughout the time the exhibition is in Plymouth there are various free events and workshops taking place.

As this project is all about the earth stories and how people have impacted it, it was interesting to see how earth cannot only link with what people do but also how it becomes a point for artistic creation. My particular favorite piece of artwork from this exhibition was by Esme Stewart, she makes paint from soil.
