This image attracted my attention as I like the contrast between the misty backdrop and the clear, sharp model. The clothing and pale complexion that the model has also compliment the backdrop without washing her out. The green trees to the right of the image add an element of colour and texture. Contributing to my theme of urban vs. nature.

Similarly to the first image, this photograph also has a misty, soft focus feel. The composition of this image makes the building in the centre of the frame the main focal point. This building looks a lot larger than the buildings next to it, this adds perspective and depth to the image. The lamppost to the right of the building almost acts as an arrow to direct the viewers attention towards the building. The subtle tones of white and blue give the image a clean, crisp feel which contrasts with the industrial grungy buildings. The street also has a ghost town, abandoned feel.
