To help me understand what people know about Union street and their perceptions of it I created a questionnaire using Survey monkey. Below are the results from the eight questions I asked.

90% of people surveyed were aware of The New Palace Theatre but only 80% had heard of the Genesis building. sadly 40% of people thought Union Street was poor or very poor. I hope my project will help change peoples views of the street. Both the buildings mentioned in my survey are a great part of Union Street and if the theatre was renovated i think it would really help the local community and maybe change peoples views on the street.
Just over half the people who took the survey were aware of the campaign to help save Union street maybe if the campaign was published more then more people could come together to help improve the area. This survey made me realise how much people really know about union street and its buildings.
