My final idea is based around a fairy-tale theme. I was influenced by the work of Joel Robinson and Tim Burton's adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

I recently photographed in Hurn forest and have decided that it would be the perfect location to shoot a fairy-tale image. I plan to have one model sat on a picnic blanket surrounded by props that summarise all things Alice in wonderland. A teapot, pocket watch, shrinking potion, a large slice of cake and oversized playing cards.
To help portray my narrative I will have one main shot of my model in the over all picnic scene and then take some close up shots of the props around the model to emphasise the story.
As a test shoot I will be photographing in Hurn forest with a model wearing a red riding hood cape. Although red riding hood does not directly link to my Alice in wonderland shoot, it is still related to the fairy-tale theme.
Doing a test shoot in the same location with allow me to get used to the area and assess factors such as lighting so that I can be prepared with all the equipment I need when it comes to the final shoot. I will be using the same model in my final shoot so having a practise shoot will allow me to get used to working with her and give her time to relax in front of the camera before the main shoot.
As this is an outdoor shoot and the weather is unpredictable there is an option to photograph in the studio if I need to. I will create the same picnic scene as I would have out on location but photograph in front of a black background instead.
