Here are the contact sheets and a few edits from my Red Riding hood test shoot. I have annotated the contact sheets to help me review which images I liked and didn't like from the shoot. Read my test shoot plan here.

This image is my favourite from the shoot. I love the composition and the contrast of colours. I used a shallow depth of field to make the foreground out of focus, this adds an element of texture and dimension to the photograph. In post-production I increased the contrast and saturation. I also used the selective colour tool to pick out the red in the cape and increase it's saturation to eliminate the risk of over saturating the whole image. I also upped the clarity to add more depth and texture to the image.

In this image I chose to experiment with layers. The above photo consists of around 5 different images. I have layered the different photographs over each other and changed the layer mode to overlay to give a transparent affect. I also changed the opacity of different layers to help add definition and clarity but also blend all the photographs to appear like one.

This is the last edit from my test shoot. I like the definition in this image, the model and red cape stand out well against the background. I have increased the clarity to emphasise the texture of the velvet cape. I think woodland to the left of the image is slightly too purple toned, I need to neutralise it using the selective colour tool in Photoshop. I also need to work on the texture of the models skin, possibly using an airbrushing technique.
This test shoot helped me to familiarise myself with my location as I am photographing in the same location for my final shoot. I also wanted to do a test shoot in this location to assess whether I would need a ranger pack lighting kit. After analysing the image I produced I don't think I need studio lighting as I quite like the way the trees diffuse natural sunlight.
